I write about clarity and taking consistent action quite a bit. It’s because I have realized in my own life how important these steps are if I am to have the life that I really desire. I also did not realize how difficult it would be for me to have clarity and take consistent action. You see, at the time, my mindset was not right for having the life that I wanted. Why? I didn’t think that it was important for me to have structure and discipline. I thought I could take shortcuts to the life I desired. I slowly (yes slowly) learned that it was time for me to stop resisting and follow the pattern of others who were living their dreams if I wanted to change my life.
After I made the decision to follow the pattern, it was still difficult for me. I still had a lot of resistance, a lot of limiting beliefs that I had to let go of. I worked through some of my obvious blocks that allowed me to work on my personal development. I was doing what needed to be done to become a person who took consistent action in my life. Things were changing, I was changing and I loved who I was becoming.
Maybe you’re like how I was, wanting change but not sure how to make it happen. You can take years and do it alone, or you can have someone like me help you get to where you want to be quicker. I’ll help you map out a plan so you can take action to have the life you really want. We’ll have what I call a Virtual VIP session ( ~3hrs). Just you and me on a video conference so you can have what you desire in your life. Let’s have a complimentary conversation about where you are and where you want to be in your life and see if a VIP session is best for you. Schedule your call here.
I would love to live on a farm someday. My daughter wants us to move to Italy. Maybe. I’m open. But back to my farm. I don’t want to be a farmer. I love open land and there are certain aspects of country living that appeals to me. I want a few farm animals, I want to have a big garden, and I want to wake up early and bake bread. I really do.
When I sit and visualize me being on my farm I smile. My body feels light and I’m so happy and fulfilled. This is where I’m supposed to be. It’s time to make it happen.
What have you been dreaming about, visualizing, that makes you feel pure bliss? Are you doing anything to make it a reality? I don’t know about you but I’ve seen my farm in my mind too often to keep it there. It’s time to make it happen. I’m going to read my post about digging ditches again. You should to. Let’s go dig ditches. READ DIG DITCHES HERE
Do you feel like throwing in the towel? Honestly, I don’t want to blog today but I’m committed to blogging everyday for 30 days. So, here I am, I showed up with no idea what to write about. Guess what just happened? I know exactly what I want to share with you today. Don’t quit!
When you keep going, when you push yourself, the ideas will come, the motivation to go another day, the momentum, it will all come. I’ll ask you again? Do you feel like throwing in the towel? After reading this post I hope you know the response I’m going to give…don’t quit.
The agony of life is to sit in a place of movement. ~Bishop TD Jakes

Dig ditches, when you’re trusting for things to somehow work out the advice given is to “dig a ditch.” In the Bible, In the book of 2 Kings 3 several kings and their armies were journeying through the wilderness. After seven days there was no more water for them or the animals traveling with them.
The kings didn’t know what to do. They asked if there was a prophet traveling with them. Elisha the prophet was with them and he was told to consult the Lord for a solution. The Lord heard Elisha and answered and told them to make the valley where they were, full of ditches.
Dig ditches when there was no water or sign of water? What else could they do? They had to follow God’s instructions. Not only did He tell them to make the valley full of ditches, he told them they would see no signs of rain but the valley would be full of water.
To dig ditches required faith, it was a sign that they believed the water would come. The water came. In abundance, it filled the valley, just like God said it would. What are you believing God to do in your life? What problem do you have that desperately needs solving? Dig ditches, show Him that you believe you’ll receive what you’re believing for. Trust Him today.

It’s exactly what I wanted years ago and I’m pleased to be able to offer it to help you. I talk a lot about living the life you really want, having clarity, and taking action. However, there’s something that I believe has to happen in order for you to live the life you really want. That something is that you have to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. You have to want to do life His way. You can have everything in place, know what you want, taking action to make it happen, and you can still be dying on the inside. You see, a rich and satisfying life is not possible without Him.
When Jesus is the head of your life, when you have relationship with Him, He will lead and direct you. When you follow His way, when you consult Him first, life is so much better. You’ll have the life you really want, and it will be a rich and satisfying life. Not many can say that about their lives. Will your life be rich and satisfying?
If you know there is more to life than the way you’re living it but you don’t know what to do about it let’s talk and create a strategy for getting you there. A rich and satisfying life is possible, and it’s possible for you. Schedule a complimentary call with me HERE.

In my last post I talked about the benefits of having clarity. If you missed it, you can read it here: BENEFITS OF CLARITY. In that post, I promised to talk about maintaining motivation and momentum. Why? Because when you’re clear about what you want and start making progress towards it, obstacles will come. They show up in the form of limiting beliefs, remarks by people of influence in your life, and life events. To live the life you really want to live, you have to be able to keep going despite what’s going on in your life. So, how do you do it? Here are some things you can do to keep motivated to have the life you really want.
3 Steps to Take for Maintaining Motivation to Live The Life You Really Want:
- Regroup and ask if what you’re going after is still what you want.
This one can be tough to do, especially if you’ve been pursuing something for a long time. However, it may be exactly what’s needed for maintaining motivation.
- Create a written motivation plan.
This plan should include music you listen to that perks you up, motivational videos/podcasts, and activities that you enjoy. When your motivation starts to dwindle grab your list and do some of the things on there whether you want to or not.
- Surround yourself with people who are taking consistent action in their lives.
The company you keep is so important. There’s a saying that goes “You lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.” This saying is so true. You may think who you surround yourself with isn’t affecting you but it is. Maintaining motivation is going to require that you choose your companions wisely.
It’s important to maintain your momentum by staying motivated if you are going to live the life you really want. When you’re not motivated you more than likely won’t take action. Which of the 3 steps will you be implementing? I’m offering a complimentary conversation to help you with maintaining motivation to have the life you really desire. Schedule your call HERE.
