I write about clarity and taking consistent action quite a bit. It’s because I have realized in my own life how important these steps are if I am to have the life that I really desire. I also did not realize how difficult it would be for me to have clarity and take consistent action. You see, at the time, my mindset was not right for having the life that I wanted. Why? I didn’t think that it was important for me to have structure and discipline. I thought I could take shortcuts to the life I desired. I slowly (yes slowly) learned that it was time for me to stop resisting and follow the pattern of others who were living their dreams if I wanted to change my life.
After I made the decision to follow the pattern, it was still difficult for me. I still had a lot of resistance, a lot of limiting beliefs that I had to let go of. I worked through some of my obvious blocks that allowed me to work on my personal development. I was doing what needed to be done to become a person who took consistent action in my life. Things were changing, I was changing and I loved who I was becoming.

There comes a time when you have to look at your life and make a decision to continue living life the way you’ve been living it or make some changes. You’ve heard it before and it’s true, you can’t expect to have different results doing the same thing you’ve been doing. Have you ever stepped out to do something that was a huge leap of faith for you? It required faith in yourself and faith in God. Let me tell you, it’s not for the distracted. You have to continuously remind yourself of why you made the decision to take the leap and stay there. Don’t give up, stay away from those you know will plant seeds of doubt. Surround yourself with other faith leapers, do it in person, through books, through videos and podcasts. Most importantly stay connected to the One who gave you the vision. Hold on tight because the first leap isn’t the only leap.
