Lesson learned from FAU football

This is going to be quick. The 2016 college football season ended with Florida Atlantic University (FAU) having a record of 3-9 overall and 2-6 in their conference (espn.com). For the 2017 season they hired a new coach, the former offensive coordinator at University of Alabama, Lane Kiffin. To say the team has been transformed is an understatement. Lane Kiffin has turned a team with years of having a losing record, to a winning team. Incredible! Why am I even talking about football and coaching on my blog? I wanted you to see what a difference good coaching and good mentoring can make.

I am so proud of FAU football and grateful that I get to watch this transformation happen. It has inspired me so much. The lesson I learned from FAU football is that we all have so much potential in us and sometimes all it takes is having the right people in our lives or being in the right environment to pull it out of us. Be great.

Focus, Determination, and the Superbowl

The Superbowl is in a few days. My favorite quarterback, the great Tom Brady, is READY! Tom Brady didn’t get ready overnight. Years ago he made the decision to become a man of discipline. To be where he is now,  a 39 yr old elite quarterback, Tom made hard choices and many sacrifices (like no ice cream, yikes!). Focus and determination are why he is still revered today.

What choices are you going to make to become the person you want to be and to have the life that you want?

When you’re ready, I would like to have a conversation with you about the choices you will have to make to become the person you want to be and to have the life that you want. Love and clarity,
Rochelle
