Celebrate it all

pink birthday cake and flowers. Celebrate it all.I completed a 30 day blogging challenge and I feel wonderful. I did something for 30 consecutive days and most days I did not feel like writing but I did it anyway. Yay me! I am going to celebrate me. I have a bad habit of undermining my accomplishments. Not anymore, I have learned the importance of celebration. I made the decision to celebrate it all and it feels good.

Celebration keeps you motivated and expansive. Dreaming bigger, taking action. I can definitely use more of both in my life. So, I want to encourage you to celebrate it all, don’t assume what you’re doing is no big deal. You’re doing it and that makes it a big deal. I am so tired right now, side effects of the all nighter I pulled two nights ago.. Be encouraged.

Change my Life

bouquet of flowers

I write about clarity and taking consistent action quite a bit. It’s because I have realized in my own life how important these steps are if I am to have the life that I really desire. I also did not realize how difficult it would be for me to have clarity and take consistent action. You see, at the time, my mindset was not right for having the life that I wanted. Why? I didn’t think that it was important for me to have structure and discipline. I thought I could take shortcuts to the life I desired. I slowly (yes slowly) learned that it was time for me to stop resisting and follow the pattern of others who were living their dreams if I wanted to change my life.

After I made the decision to follow the pattern, it was still difficult for me. I still had a lot of resistance, a lot of limiting beliefs that I had to let go of. I worked through some of my obvious blocks that allowed me to work on my personal development. I was doing what needed to be done to become a person who took consistent action in my life. Things were changing, I was changing and I loved who I was becoming.

Maybe you’re like how I was, wanting change but not sure how to make it happen. You can take years and do it alone, or you can have someone like me help you get to where you want to be quicker. I’ll help you map out a plan so you can take action to have the life you really want. We’ll have what I call a Virtual VIP session ( ~3hrs). Just you and me on a video conference so you can have what you desire in your life. Let’s have a complimentary conversation about where you are and where you want to be in your life and see if a VIP session is best for you. Schedule your call here.

My farm

I would love to live on a farm someday. My daughter wants us to move to Italy. Maybe. I’m open. But back to my farm. I don’t want to be a farmer. I love open land and there are certain aspects of country living that appeals to me. I want a few farm animals, I want to have a big garden, and I want to wake up early and bake bread. I really do.

When I sit and visualize me being on my farm I smile. My body feels light and I’m so happy and fulfilled. This is where I’m supposed to be. It’s time to make it happen.

What have you been dreaming about, visualizing, that makes you feel pure bliss? Are you doing anything to make it a reality? I don’t know about you but I’ve seen my farm in my mind too often to keep it there. It’s time to make it happen. I’m going to read my post about digging ditches again. You should to. Let’s go dig ditches. READ DIG DITCHES HERE

3 Steps to Maintaining Motivation

white peacock

I loved watching this peacock strut his stuff. Perfect for maintaining motivation.

In my last post I talked about the benefits of having clarity. If you missed it, you can read it here: BENEFITS OF CLARITY. In that post, I promised to talk about maintaining motivation and momentum. Why? Because when you’re clear about what you want and start making progress towards it, obstacles will come. They show up in the form of limiting beliefs, remarks by people of influence in your life, and life events. To live the life you really want to live, you have to be able to keep going despite what’s going on in your life. So, how do you do it? Here are some things you can do to keep motivated to have the life you really want.

3 Steps to Take for Maintaining Motivation to Live The Life You Really Want:

  1. Regroup and ask if what you’re going after is still what you want.
This one can be tough to do, especially if you’ve been pursuing something for a long time. However, it may be exactly what’s needed for maintaining motivation.
  2. Create a written motivation plan.
This plan should include music you listen to that perks you up, motivational videos/podcasts, and activities that you enjoy. When your motivation starts to dwindle grab your list and do some of the things on there whether you want to or not.
  3. Surround yourself with people who are taking consistent action in their lives.
The company you keep is so important. There’s a saying that goes “You lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.” This saying is so true. You may think who you surround yourself with isn’t affecting you but it is. Maintaining motivation is going to require that you choose your companions wisely.

It’s important to maintain your momentum by staying motivated if you are going to live the life you really want. When you’re not motivated you more than likely won’t take action. Which of the 3 steps will you be implementing? I’m offering a complimentary conversation to help you with maintaining motivation to have the life you really desire. Schedule your call HERE.

3 Ways Clarity Will Change Your Life

Do you know what you want to have, be, and do? A lot of people live life without clear answers to these questions. They face each day agitated and stressed and are unsure why they feel that way.

These issues are then addressed with prescription meds, alcohol, or illegal drugs. What’s really being addressed are the symptoms of a bigger problem. That problem is lack of clarity.

Having clarity will change your outlook on life; it will give you life.

Here are a few things having clarity will do for you:

1. Reduce stress.

When you know what you want life becomes more simple. It’s easier to say “no” to the activities and people that pull you away from your goals and dreams.

2. Boost your confidence.

When you know what you want you walk a little taller. Clarity builds confidence.

3. Wake you up excited to live your life.

Knowing what you desire gives you something to focus on. When you’re focused you have purpose and that is what will wake you up excited each day. In my next blog post I’ll talk about how to stay motivated.

If you’re lacking clarity in your life I want to encourage you to take the time to get clear about what you’d like to have happen in your life. Not sure how to get clarity? This free download has 10 things you can do to have clarity. You can get it here: 10 Things For Clarity

I’m offering a complimentary conversation to help you get clear about what you desire in your life. You can schedule your clarity call HERE.

What are you waiting on

I want to encourage you to live. Stop waiting for the conditions to be favorable, convenient, and even perfect; just live, right now, where you are.

This is exactly what Alia did after having several coaching conversations with me. She couldn’t decide what to do with her life and was in limbo. Here’s what she had to say:

“Rochelle was instrumental in making me get out of my limbo and take action. Today I am half way through a degree in healthcare and I feel great!!”

If you’ve been waiting to fully live your life and feel stuck in a holding pattern, schedule a complimentary call with me let’s see how I can help you take action and move forward. SCHEDULE CALL

Lessons learned from Ben

Dog lying down

Ben

I learned a lesson from my mom’s dog, Ben. Ben is a gentle bear, he’s so sweet and he loves to be cuddled (all day!). When Ben wants to be cuddled he does whatever it takes to receive the love, he pushes his way between whatever barrier is keeping him from my hands, he pushes any one or my other dog out of the way, he positions his head so that you have no choice but to pet him. He really knows how to get what he wants. So here are lessons learned from Ben.

Ben has reminded me that:

  • If you want something go after it
  • Don’t be deterred if you’re told no, keep trying
  • Know what you want
  • Don’t let others stop you from getting what you want

There is so much we can learn from observing the world around us. Pay attention and put into action what you observe. Most importantly, go after what you want, implement some of the lessons learned from Ben and see what’s possible. If believing you can achieve your big dreams is a struggle for you schedule a complimentary call with me.
